Strategic Priorities

In order to achieve a safe and secure Canada, and to support an overall crime reduction strategy, considerable focus will be placed on the following strategic priorities.
 

• Youth: To reduce youth involvement in the criminal justice system;

• Road Safety: To reduce the number of traffic collisions involving death and injury;

• Community Engagement: To engage with Community Partners and Citizens to enhance safety;

• Neighbourhood Safety: Encourage all Citizens to take an active role in protecting their neighbours;
