On January 19, 2024 shortly before 1:00 pm, Sea to Sky (Whistler) RCMP was notified by Blackcomb Ski patrol of a sudden death that occurred on Whistler Blackcomb mountain.

"Our deepest thoughts are with the family, friends and those who assisted on scene, said Sergeant Nathan Miller, Operations NCO for Sea to Sky (Whistler) Detachment.

Sea to Sky (Whistler) RCMP officers are working in partnership with the BC Coroner’s Service on this investigation, and no further details will be released at this time.
