Lillooet RCMP continue to request the public's assistance in reporting any suspicious or criminal activity. You can reach the Lillooet RCMP at 250-256-4244, or for crimes in progress call 911. Alternatively you can report anonymously to CrimeStoppers.

Property crime has become a focal point in communities large and small throughout BC. Thefts from residences and motor vehicles are often crimes of opportunity, with thieves taking advantage of items left in plain sight or unattended. Criminals seek out the easiest target for break-ins and there are steps we can all take to prevent these crimes.

Lillooet RCMP encourage residents to have a 9pm routine. This should include removing all valuables including keys and garage door openers from vehicles, locking vehicle doors, locking up outdoor buildings and primary residence doors and windows, and turning on exterior lights and alarm systems.

Downton Park continues to be monitored by Lillooet RCMP. Alcohol use in the park is a known issue. Police continue to make regular patrols at the park, and take enforcement actions under the Liquor Control and Licensing Act.
