Fatal Motor Vehicle Incident on Cortes Island

On June 21st at approximately 11:30 PM, Quadra RCMP were called for a single Motor Vehicle Incident on Cortes Island. The driver was pronounced dead on scene and the passenger was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger is currently in stable condition. Speed is believed to be a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
