At around 3:00 PM, on July 26, police received multiple 911 calls where initial reports stated an active robbery was occurring in the 22700 block area of 119th Avenue prompting a large police response. Upon arrival police determined that no robbery occurred however a 43-year-old woman had been assaulted and a man was subsequently arrested at the scene. The woman and the man are known to each other.
Concurrently, during the course of the investigation, and as police were tending to the victim, a by-standing woman and man continually approached police, yelled at police and were interfering with the investigation.
