Police seeking witnesses after incident at Port Haney Wharf

Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is investigating a report of an assault which took place at the Port Haney Wharf earlier today.

On July 10, 2023, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP received a report from the City of Maple Ridge Bylaws office and immediately responded to an incident involving two individuals engaged in an altercation occurring at the Port Haney Wharf.

The police response and subsequent investigation resulted in one female being arrested for assault and criminal mischief.

This is an active and ongoing investigation and Police are interested in hearing from further witnesses. If you have witnessed this assault, or have dash-cam video from the area, please contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP directly at 604-463-6251.
