Fatal motorcycle crash

Maple Ridge, B.C – Ridge Meadows RCMP is investigating a single vehicle motorcycle crash which, sadly, resulted in a fatality.

On Saturday, Aug 29th, at around 12:45 AM, police responded to the 22900 block area of Dewdney Trunk road. A single motorcyclist was travelling East bound when they passed a White, Toyota Prius, lost control and crashed. Sadly, the motorcyclist sustained significant injury and passed away at the scene.

The Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Road Safety Target Team (RSTT) and the RCMP’s Integrated Collision Analyst and Reconstruction Services (ICARS) attended the scene and has conduct of the investigation. All factors such as speed, weather conditions and time of day will be considered as part of the investigation. No other vehicles or pedestrians were involved.
