
Police release sketches related to indecent act investigation

Coquitlam RCMP is releasing composite sketches in hopes of identifying a suspect related to two indecent acts that occurred in the area of Eagle Ridge Drive, Coquitlam.
On May 24, 2021, at 5:45 p.m., Coquitlam RCMP received a report of an indecent act that occurred at the end of Eagle Ridge Drive, near the top of the Coquitlam Crunch. The victim noticed the man walk past her, starring at her for an uncomfortable amount of time. The man then doubled back and started walking toward the victim, when he stopped and exposed himself. The victim drove away and immediately contacted police. Police have been conducting extra patrols in the area.
Since the initial report, two more victims have come forward and provided information to police regarding a similar incident in the same area on August 21, 2021. Based on the details provided by the victims, investigators believe that one suspect that is responsible for all three indecent acts.
The suspect is described as:
- A South Asian or Middle Eastern man, in his mid-forties,
- Approximately 5’10 tall, with a medium build, and medium skin tone,
- With short black hair, and short black facial stubble,
- Wearing a black baseball cap, orange raincoat with a white shirt underneath and blue shorts.
Coquitlam RCMP is releasing two composite sketches that were done based on descriptions provided by the victims.
Our investigators are confident that someone will recognize the suspect or be able to provide information to further advance the investigation.
