File # 2024-13745

On Friday May 3, 2024, Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on the 300-block of Nicholson Street after locating a stolen vehicle at the property. The residence is the current home of a repeat, violent offender who is well-known to police.

Inside the residence, police officers located two firearms and ammunition as well as items related to the stolen vehicle. Multiple persons were arrested from inside the residence and were released on scene; the primary suspect was held in custody and subsequently released back to the community on an Undertaking with conditions.

This is not the first time in the last month that stolen vehicles have been located at this residence. The increase in criminal activity in the area has investigators focusing their attention on this residence and the people residing within, to better ensure public safety in the neighbourhood, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The investigation is ongoing.
