File # 2024-10135

Prince George RCMP is thanking one witness who made an out-of-the-ordinary discovery on April 1, 2024, which assisted police in recovering a large quantity of drugs hidden in the area. The report came in shortly before 1:00 p.m., when a witness reported finding some large black cases buried down a local trail near the 6800-block of Fairmont Crescent.

When police officers searched the area further, they found a total of three cases buried in various locations. Investigators opened the cases and found approximately $5000 in cash and over 400 grams of illicit drugs inside, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Police officers seized the cases for further investigation.
