File # 2023-425

During the month of March 2023, Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed two search warrants in support of a two-month long drug trafficking investigation. The search warrants were executed on the 1700-block of 17 Avenue and the 2600-block of Recplace Drive.

During the searches, nearly 1400 grams of suspected fentanyl, 170 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 28 grams of suspected cocaine, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia, were located and seized.

This is a significant seizure of fentanyl and is enough for approximately 14,000 individual doses of the illicit drug.

One male was arrested and subsequently released back to the community pending the full results of the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing.
