File # Public Service Announcement

Coquitlam RCMP is celebrating National Police Week by showcasing various sections that work in and with the communities we serve.

National Police Week began in 1970 as a way for police to connect with their communities and to increase awareness about the services they provide. This year’s theme is: committed to serve.

To the residents we serve, there is an expectation that we keep them safe and well, said Acting Officer in Charge of Coquitlam RCMP, Inspector Darren Carr. We take these responsibilities seriously and proudly serve our communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Public safety involves a collaborative effort with police agencies, community partners, other first responders and residents. This week, we will be featuring various sections within the Coquitlam RCMP, whom all have committed to serve their communities.
