The Prince Rupert RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Lax Kw'alaams resident.

Lawrence Douglas Maitland was last seen between July 17th and 18th pushing his bicycle on Victoria Street in Lax Kw'alaams at approximately 2:00 PM.

Lawrence Maitland was last seen wearing all black clothing, black wrap around sunglasses, and blck work boots. A description of Lawrence Maitland is as follows:

• First Nations man
• 42 years old
• 5’9
• 187 lbs
• Black hair in a slicked back mo-hawk
• Black goatee

The Prince Rupert RCMP are concerned for Lawrence Maitland's well being, as this disappearance is out of the ordinary for him.
