Burnaby RCMP renews public appeal in search of missing 28-year-old Jiexiong Xu

Burnaby RCMP continues to search for 28-year-old Jiexiong Xu, who was the subject of a missing person appeal on August 11, 2022.

Jiexiong was last seen on Sunday, July 10 near Imperial Street and Sussex Avenue in Burnaby. He was expected to return to China at the end of July and was reported missing on August 3, 2022 when family was unable to reach him.

Jiexiong is described as:

When last seen, Jiexiong was wearing a t-shirt, sweatpants and carrying two suitcases.

Today we are renewing our appeal to the public in the hopes of generating tips. Said Corporal Jason Pickering, Burnaby RCMP’s Missing Person Coordinator. Please take a look at these photos and contact our investigators if you have any information.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Jiexiong or have information on his whereabouts to call the Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999. It they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
