Police are looking for video and witnesses related to a stolen motorcycle collision on the North Shore yesterday morning.

On Tuesday July 23, 2024, around 10:27 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to the area of Fortune Drive and 8th Street, where a man on a motorcycle lost control, crashed, and then fled on foot with a female passenger. The motorcycle had been reported stolen overnight from a residence on the 700-block of Stewart Avenue.

To help further the investigation, we are asking residents in the area to please check their dash camera and security footage to see if anything was captured that may be related to the stolen motorcycle or its riders that could assist in identifying them as suspects, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

Those with information are asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-23540.
