Information sought by the BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit

The BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit and the Northern Rockies RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in finding Karen Tessier, who was last seen in Fort Nelson on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, members of the public located Karen Tessier’s black Dodge Caravan in a rural area outside Fort Nelson.

The BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit have taken conduct of this investigation and are urgently seeking the public’s cooperation in finding Karen Tessier. Investigators believe that members of the public have information regarding her disappearance and have not yet come forward.

Karen Tessier is described as:

• Indigenous female
• 57 years old
• 5 ft 5 inches (163 cm)
• 177 lbs (80 kg)
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes
