Powell River RCMP investigate deceased individual found in park

On the morning of June 19, 2024, an individual was found deceased on the beach of Grief Point airplane park. The investigation is ongoing, however the death does not appear to be suspicious. There is no concern for public safety. The individual has been identified and the family has been notified.
