Vehicle collision on Highway 97 near Lac la Hache

On June 21, 2024 at approximately 1:00 pm, 100 Mile House RCMP were called to a vehicle collision, involving a bus, on Highway 97 at Butler Road in Lac la Hache.

The highway is currently shut down to all traffic in both directions to allow first responders to safely attend and assess the scene. We are asking the public to avoid the area until further notice to allow crews to work.

Please follow direction provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure employees who are assisting.
