Over the course of the past couple of weeks there have been several Share the Love
banners hanging on Vanderhoof light standards that have been vandalized, causing several thousand dollars of damage.
Police have obtained video footage of an individual seen climbing a ladder where one of the banners was placed. While the video does not capture the damage being done to the banner, police would like to identify and speak with the individual shown in the video.
Transcription
An individual wearing a hat walks up to a pole and then walks away.
The same individual, places an extension ladder against a pole and climbs up the ladder.
It should be noted that the vehicle shown in the video is not related to the investigation.
Vanderhoof RCMP are actively investigating the incidents, and are requesting the assistance of the public in solving these crimes.
