Kamloops police are on the lookout for some unique, but valuable items stolen from a vehicle overnight.

On Oct. 19, 2023, around 6:30 a.m., the Kamloops RCMP Detachment received a report of a work truck that had its back window smashed and tools stolen from inside, while parked on the 600-block of Victoria Street.

A pelican case with a helicopter part inside was stolen, that is likely of no use or value to whoever took it, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. We are releasing an image of the items and encouraging anyone who has, or comes across them, to please call police right away.

Anyone with information related to this investigation, including security video or dash camera footage, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-37744.
