Citizens Crime Watch

The Citizens Crime Watch (CCW) program is a group of concerned citizens who volunteer their time to assist in the fight against crime in the North Vancouver community.

They are part of a volunteer proactive program that is doing something about improving the security of our neighborhoods. Their motto is OBSERVE, RECORD, REPORT. The volunteers support the RCMP by patrolling designated areas and watching for any possible criminal activity and reporting the information to the North Vancouver RCMP. The patrollers work in teams, using marked Community Policing Vehicles. Patrols are not intended to replace regular law enforcement, but to act as an extra set of eyes and ears for the police. The CCW patrol all of North Vancouver, both the City and District areas.

If you are interested in becoming involved with the North Vancouver Citizens Crime Watch program, contact the Lower Lonsdale Community Policing office at 604-969-7464. They are located at 112 East 3rd Street, North Vancouver.
