Officer in Charge

Superintendent Warren Brown is the current officer in charge of the Prince George Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He has a diverse policing career that has spanned nearly 30 years and three police forces. His career began with the Winnipeg City Police before joining the Delta Municipal Police in the Lower Mainland of BC. In 2002, Supt. Brown joined the RCMP and has been posted to Merritt, New Hazelton and Williams Lake before being promoted to Prince George in December 2014. Supt. Brown has walked the beat in major centers and worked in small rural and First Nations communities. He is a proud third generation Mountie who loves his job and loves serving the people in our community.
