Collision on Highway 97

Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97.

On April 16, 2024 at approximately 7:29 a.m., the Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 at Dragon Lake Road involving a pickup truck and an SUV. The SUV was attempting to cross Highway 97 from Dragon Lake Road when it was struck by the pickup truck travelling north on the Highway. The drivers and sole occupants of both vehicles received minor injuries. "One man was taken to the hospital for further examination", said Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
