File #2017-14351 - On September 20, 2017, West Shore RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter into a sea container overnight at a construction site located in the 3300 block of Paperbark Cresent, Langford. A yellow vacuum lifter used to lift large pieces of stone was stolen. This is a unique piece of equipment and likely the only one on Vancouver Island. Valued at $3300. The make of the Vacuum lifter is "ANVER" and the model is "VPF-57-AC Vac-Pack".

File #2017-12972 – On September 21, 2017, West Shore RCMP recovered jewelry and a set of old WWII medals from a vehicle that was subject of a search warrant. Police believe these items were likely stolen from a break and enter. Police would like to return these items to their rightful owners.
