Shots fired prompts police investigation

West Shore RCMP is currently investigating after multiple 9-1-1 calls were received last night regarding shots heard near the intersection of Orono Ave and Jacklin Rd in Langford, B.C.

At around 10:15 P.M., on September 6, police flooded the area of Orono Ave and Jacklin Rd after several witnesses heard shots being fired outside.

Police are continuing their investigation and are still gathering evidence from the scene.
There have been no reported injuries following this incident.

We don’t have any victims, or any information that would lead us to believe there are any, states Cst. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the West Shore RCMP. Because of the nature of this investigation, we ask the public to be cautious and vigilant until we learn more about this incident.
