Two youth arrested after damaging cars and street sign

On June 26, 2017 at approximately 2:10 a.m., West Shore RCMP responded to the 2800 block of Peatt Rd in Langford for a complaint of two young males knocking down a street sign, jumping on the hoods of cars and kicking off their mirrors.

A detailed description of the two 16 year old youth were promptly provided and police were able to locate the two suspects, whom were arrested and released to the care of their parents with a Promise to Appear in court on August 9th, 2017.

The prompt call to police with a detailed description of the suspects allowed officers to make an arrest immediately, says Cst. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for West Shore RCMP.
