One male deceased after shooting

On October 27th, 2017 at approximately 8:55pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 11300 block of Alpen Place. Attending officers located one victim deceased at scene and a second victim, also suffering from gunshot wounds, was transported to hospital.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has attended the scene and are working with the Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit and the Integrated Forensic Identification Section (IFIS) to process the scene. Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages but it appears this was a targeted incident.

Crestview Drive between 133A St and 136th Street is presently closed to traffic and will remain closed for some time.
