Surrey RCMP investigate shots fired in Clayton Heights

Surrey RCMP is currently on scene in the Clayton Heights area of Surrey for a report of shots being fired.

At approximately 7:10 pm on August 8th, 2017, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 19200 block of 72nd Ave., Surrey, B.C. No persons were injured, but evidence was located confirming shots were fired.

The initial investigation has revealed that one vehicle was shooting at a second vehicle.

Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages. Initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.
