Pedestrian hit and run – 10200 block of 149th Ave

On July 16th, 2017 at approximately 5:40pm, Surrey RCMP received a number of 911 calls reporting that a female pedestrian had been struck in the 10200 block of 149th Avenue.

Upon police arrival, witnesses advised that the suspect vehicle, believed to be a silver or gray coloured import sedan, had fled the scene and was last seen heading westbound with two male occupants inside.

The female victim, a 47 year old resident of Surrey, was transported to hospital with serious head and leg injuries and is in stable condition. Officers acknowledge the actions of citizens on scene who came to the aid of the female victim prior to the arrival of emergency services.
