Two vehicle collision with serious injuries

Surrey RCMP is on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision in the Guildford area.

On May 4th, 2017, at approximately 5:49am, Surrey RCMP received a call reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 96th Avenue and 152 Street. Information was received that the collision occurred between a motorcycle and an automobile at the location.

Officers attended to the scene as well as Surrey Fire Services and British Columbia Ambulance Service. The rider of the motorcycle has been transported to hospital in serious condition with significant injuries. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and was uninjured.

The intersection remains closed while Surrey RCMP continues to investigate. At this time it is not known when the intersection will be reopened.
