Pedestrian motor vehicle collision – 138 Street and 70 Avenue

Surrey RCMP is at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the 7000 block of 138 Street of Surrey.

On March 26, 2017 at approximately 8:30pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian motor vehicle collision in the 7000 block of 138 Street. A vehicle travelling Northbound on 138 Street was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the intersection of 138 Street and 70 Avenue.

The pedestrian has been transported to local area hospital in critical condition with life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is co-operating. The incident is still under investigation.

The intersection of 138 Street and 70 Avenue will be closed for traffic for the next few hours while investigators gather evidence.
