Two persons fail to report to designated border crossing

On February 25th, 2017, at approximately 7:20 am, Surrey RCMP received a report that two persons had crossed the border from the United States of America into Canada near 170th Street and 0 Avenue without reporting to a Port of Entry. Surrey RCMP officers arrested the two cooperative suspects under the Immigration Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and turned them over to Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers for further investigation.
