Fatal pedestrian motor vehicle collision – King George Boulevard and 95 Avenue

On November 9, 2016 at approximately 9:15pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian motor vehicle collision in the 9500 block of King George Boulevard. A vehicle was travelling southbound on King George Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian.

The 66 year old pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is co-operating with the investigation. The incident is still under investigation.

King George Boulevard will be closed for traffic between 96 and 94 A Avenue for the next few hours while investigators gather evidence.
