Surrey RCMP investigate a confirmed shots fired in South Surrey

Surrey RCMP is currently on scene at a residence in the South Surrey area for a report of shots fired.

On Saturday, May 14th at approximately 3:30am Surrey RCMP responded to several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the 1700 block of King George Boulevard. Officers attended and located what appears to be several gun shots into a residence. Although there were persons inside of the residence, no one was injured.

Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is an isolated but targeted incident.
