Gas Leak Leads Mission RCMP to Illegal Marihuana Operation

Mission BC: Shortly after 12:00 pm November 27th, 2017 the Mission RCMP were called to a report of a broken gas line near the 11,000 block of Yeo Street, which was a result of an illegal diversion for stealing gas. Mission RCMP investigators held the property until later that evening when a warrant was executed for the property.

Investigators conducted a warranted search locating and seizing marihuana plants, dried marihuana, marihuana derivatives, firearms, and cash. Two (2) vehicles and two (2) motorcycles were also seized as proceeds of crime.

One (1) Kilogram of Shatter

Hand Guns, Riffles, Amoured Vest, Canadian Currency, Motorcycle

$10,000 in Cash; Thirteen (13) Fire Arms; Two (2) Vehicles & Two (2) Motorcycles

Residential drug operations are always a significant concern to public safety; especially in operations of clandestine production techniques making derivatives such as shatter, where highly volatile substances like butane are used. [Constable James Mason, MRO]

The investigation is still on going as no person(s) have been charge in connection to this operation.
