Male Rammed Police Vehicles Given 9 Charges

On April 25th, 2017, Mission RCMP attempted a traffic stop with a stolen vehicle entering the Mission area. Subsequently, the male driver of the stolen vehicle rammed Police vehicles and then fled on foot. The male was later arrested without further incident by Police Dog Services and taken into custody.

The male was given nine charges which include: Assault with a Weapon; Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000; Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle by Drug; Flight from Police; Possession of Drug for Trafficking and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon.

The male was remanded in custody and given a next appearance date of May 29th, 2017.
