Police Respond To Aldergrove Home Invasion

 Langley BC: Just before 7:30 this evening, Langley RCMP received multiple calls to the area of 266 Street and 29 Avenue. On attendance, police learned that a home invasion had just occured.

While it is still early in the investigation it has been determined that during the incident shots had been fired. 

Langley Serious Crime Section has taken conduct of the investigation and remain on scene.

No further details are available this evening.

Police are asking for anyone that may have witnessed anything and have not yet spoken with police to please contact the Langely RCMP 


Langley Serious Crime continues to investigate the overnight home invasion. Investigation thus far has determined that the incident was not random and the residence was targeted.

Just before 7:30 pm multiple suspects arrived and forced their way in to the residence. During their entry the occupant of the house, a 27 year old Langley man, was shot. The suspects fled the area.

The gun shot victim was taken to area hospital by ground ambulance. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
