Police hope to reunite property with their owners

Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in reuniting found property to their rightful owners.

Found property is routinely turned in to local police stations in the hopes of reuniting them with their owners. Police attempt to locate the owners through course of an investigation, but sometimes can not reunite the items.

Coquitlam RCMP is hoping to reunite the following items with their owners:

Orange Kuwahara Gaap Forest bicycle.

On Saturday, March 9, 2024 Coquitlam RCMP recovered an Orange Kuwahara Gaap Forest bicycle in a forest area along Hudson Street near Nash Street in Coquitlam. A serial number was located on the bicycle but has not been matched with police report.

On Monday, April 1, 2024 a gold wedding band was turned into the Coquitlam RCMP detachment which had been located on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. on a gravel trail of Como Lake park located at 686 Gatensbury Street, Coquitlam.

Silver watch, silver and diamond tennis bracelet and thin beaded silver bangle

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024 a silver watch, silver and diamond tennis bracelet and thin beaded silver bangle were turned into Police after the items were located near Costco located at 3550 Brighton Avenue, Burnaby. The items were located with other found property that has since been returned to their rightful owner.

The rightful owner will be required to provide ownership by providing police with details of the item(s) as well as any other identifying marks. If you believe any of these items are yours, please contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote the associated file number.
