File # 2017-15024

Police are requesting the public’s help following a hit & run collision last evening.

On Wednesday May 17th, 2017 at 6:10 PM, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle hit & run collision involving a pedestrian. The incident occurred on Tamarack Street at 20th Avenue in Prince George.

Multiple emergency services attended the scene and found a 32 year old male suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. He was transported to hospital for treatment.

The investigation has led police to believe that an older model black sedan struck the victim and fled the area. It is believed that the sedan will have front windshield damage, specifically on the passenger side.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating both the driver of the vehicle and the vehicle itself. In addition, police would also like to speak to any witnesses.
