Stolen Vehicle Recovered, Four Suspects Arrested

Police have four suspects in custody and the investigation is continuing, following a report of a stolen vehicle yesterday afternoon.

Just after 3:00 PM on Monday April 24th, 2017, the Prince George RCMP received a report of an occupied stolen vehicle parked near 1st Avenue and Tabor Boulevard in Prince George.

Police officers including a Police Dog Service team attended the area. The suspects fled the vehicle on foot into a near-by park and were tracked to the McIntyre Crescent area. All four occupants were arrested and taken into custody without incident a short time later.

The vehicle, a 1997 Ford Explorer, was reported stolen at approximately 6:30 AM the same day. It had been stolen from a residence on Arnett Avenue sometime overnight.

A 22 year old male, 23 year old male, 41 year old female and 17 year old youth male were held in custody overnight and may be facing charges. The investigation is continuing.
