Identity Sought for Robbery Suspects

Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying two persons responsible for a Robbery last month.

Just after 8:00 PM on Friday February 3rd, 2017, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a Robbery that occurred at a major retail chain on Southridge Avenue in Prince George.

Officers attended and found that a male, accompanied by a female, was attempting to leave the store with an unpurchased remote controlled car when he was requested to show his receipt. The suspect failed to show a receipt and left the store. He was confronted by staff at which time he pulled out a canister of bear mace and sprayed it at an employee twice, hitting him once.

The two suspects got into the rear seats of a newer model grey Chrysler 300 or Sebring and departed the area with the product, valued at approximately $100.

All efforts to identify the suspects have been negative to date. Investigators are now asking the public’s help to identify the suspects.
