File # 2017-02235 / 03830

Two wanted parolees are back in custody thanks in large part to information provided by the public.

On Tuesday January 24th, 2017, a Canada Wide Warrant for Being Unlawfully at Large was issued for 25 year old Tim AYOTTE. The arrest warrant was issued after AYOTTE failed to meet the conditions of his release by missing curfew at his designated residence in Prince George, BC.

On Tuesday February 21st, 2017, AYOTTE was located and arrested at a residence on the 1700 block of Upland Street in Prince George.

On Wednesday February 8th, 2017, a Canada Wide Warrant for Being Unlawfully at Large was issued for 38 year old Vincent Albert MARTIN. The arrest warrant was issued after MARTIN failed to meet the conditions of his release by missing curfew at his designated residence in Prince George, BC.

On Thursday February 16th, 2017, a member of the public driving near Sorrento, BC, recognized a hitchhiker to be MARTIN and notified police. MARTIN was arrested without incident.

Police would like to thank the public for their help in locating these two men. Without the public’s help, many wanted persons would remain at-large for longer periods of time, reducing public safety.
