The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted for sexual offences that occurred in Prince George more than 20 years ago.

A Canada Wide arrest warrant has been issued for Rupert William BURR, a 55 year old former resident of Prince George who has been wanted in British Columbia since 1998 for offences that occurred in 1993. BURR’s where-a-bouts are not known, prompting investigators to appeal to the public for help. In 1994 BURR was described as:

BURR was born in Alberta in 1961 and is believed to have resided in Worsley, Alberta as recently as 2015. It is also believed that he is aware that he is wanted and may be using a false name.
