Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating the robbery of a beer and wine store.

On Wednesday May 31st around 6:15 p.m. a man entered a beer and wine store in the 22200 block of Lougheed Highway. He produced a weapon and demanded money from the employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Fortunately no one was injured.

Police are releasing a surveillance photo of the suspect, who is described as a Caucasian male, 40 to 50 years of age. He is approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a cowboy hat, plaid shirt, blue jeans and boots.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $2000.00 if your information leads to an arrest and conviction.
