Police seeking witnesses of pedestrian motor vehicle incident

At 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Prince George RCMP was called to the 1800-block of First Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses state the pedestrian was crossing the road northbound when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. She was transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. The driver stayed at the incident location and is cooperating with the investigation.

Police are looking for any witnesses who saw the incident occur or for anyone with dash cam footage that may have captured the event.
